ACCT - 106 Clinical Supervision, Ethics, and Working with the Imposter Syndrome in Supervisees

3.0 CONTACT HOURS of continuing ed.

Learn basic and advanced clinical supervision skills and the ethics that drive those skills. Explore specific ethical concerns that the supervisor may see and experience in supervision. Identify and explore the imposter syndrome as needed with supervisees who present with lack of confidence in their skills, a need for skills training, uncertainty around the population that they most want to work with, and concerns around their scope of practice. Learn 5 solutions for addressing it. Case studies will involve both SA and MH. NCASPPB approved. See NBCC approval statement below. NCASPPB approved. Objectives:

1. Learn basic and advanced supervision skills and the ethics that drive those skills.

2. Learn about and address the imposter syndrome as needed with supervisees. Address ethical concerns around this syndrome.
